Tuesday

We finished our draft presentation and looked at it on the big screen. we noticed a lot of errors and corrected them. I didn't make the graphs font size big enough so I had to redo them. I also forgot the axis titles. I think our poster looks good now.

Sunday

At 1:30 a large group of us went our to San Vito which is a town right down the mountain from us. At San Vito we found a bakery shop and I got a cone with a Carmel filling of sorts and a powdered sugar pastry. We also found an ice cream shop and I got a mango shake which is the best I've ever had. It pains me that I may not be able to visit that shop maybe ever. I explored the town alone for around an hour and didn't find to much because most of the shops were closed. we ended the night eating a lilliana's pizzeria.

Tuesday

We took a tour of the botanical garden that lasted til noon. After that we took a tour of the buildings and went to the river. After dinner we had formal introductions with everyone including people from a tribe in Panama.

Friday

     The day started out at 8:30 when we left the botanical garden. We went on the Melissa trail to look a canopy gaps in pasture lands. we only saw three of them and we need at least five. We followed the Melissa trail to the primary forest and got six canopy gaps recorded. We followed the Wilson trail to the Ridge trail and back to the station. The whole trip took six hours and according to Zach's phone it was five miles but I think it was more than that. After we got back I put the data into the excel spreadsheet and didn't do much else after that.
